Relax Gaming Expands UK Presence with MrQ

Relax Gaming is looking to further expand its presence in the UK market as it launches its gaming portfolio at the popular bingo and slots operation site MrQ.

This is just the beginning for Relax Gaming as there are plans for further expansion across Lindar Media’s platforms. MrQ is currently the flagship platform of the company in the UK and alongside the big bingo games now on offer, they will also be providing slot games from Relax’s Silver Bullet and Powered By studio partners.

Players can head on over to the site to enjoy these latest cutting edge games that are quick and easy to access.

Video Bingo Added to MGA Range

MGA Games is a well-known slot supplier that has now transformed one of its most popular slot games into an entertaining video bingo game. Golden Lucky Cat is the video bingo game and it contains fantastic technological innovations such as a triple view feature which makes it the ideal game to play on mobile devices.

The game features 60 balls in a cage with 30 drawn 1 to 4 tickets with 3 lines and 5 columns and 16 different prize patterns. There are also 14 extra balls and a wild card ball, allowing players to replace numbers and hopefully increase their chances of winning.

The game has already been released in Spain and UK players can look out for it from June 22nd.

Safer Gambling Week to Take Place from 19th to 25th November

The Safer Gambling Week 2020 will be held between the 19th and 25th November, the Betting and Gaming Council has announced. This event will take place over 6 days and switches the responsible gambling message to safer gambling. It is being organised in partnership with the Bingo Association and the British Amusement Catering Trade Association. This event was first set up by the Industry Group in 2017 to encourage businesses in the industry to talk more about safer gambling.

ASA Announces Lowest Level of Minors Exposed to Gambling Ads in 12 Years

The Advertising Standards Authority has reported that the level of children exposed to gambling ads is the lowest it has been in 12 years. The report shows that children saw, on average, 2.5 ads per week and these low numbers haven’t been seen in many years. With more and more children going online, this has resulted in fewer viewing ads on television. We can expect even lower results at the end of this year with gambling TV ads being replaced with responsible gambling messages.

Gambling Licenses Issued by Alderney Falls in 2019

In 2019, the Alderney Gambling Commission issued just 33 licenses which was down from 53 the previous year. Six of the licenses were new, while 27 were renewals. Just a few of the big brands that had lapsed licenses were International Game Technology, Inspired Entertainment and SG Digital’s NYX Gaming Group.

The good news, however, is that the commission reported a fall in the number of complaints against licenses as it went from 39 in 2018 to 23 in 2019.

Will and Kate Test Out their Bingo Lingo

You may have spotted The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on television this week as the couple gave a great attempt at being bingo callers for a care home in Cardiff, Wales!

The royal couple joined the care home residents via video call and although they gave the bingo lingo their best attempt calling out ‘One Little Duck, Number 2’ and ‘Six and Two, Tickety Boo’ they may need to sharpen up their bingo calling skills for next time. The Duke even commented saying, “We’ll try and do a bit better at bingo next time.” Good thing they aren’t going to be out of work anytime soon as bingo may not be their ideal calling!

That’s you caught up on all the latest bingo news. Fingers crossed we can look for more good bingo news in the weeks to come.
