GVC Takes Over Cozy Games

Last Updated on , written by Amelia Cassiday

In November 2017, GVC Holdings makes international bingo related news by acquiring well-known UK based games provider, Cozy Games. The new addition to the already popular GVC Holdings establishment, provides a much bigger platform of casino games while also boosting more bingo variations for their fans. The sites operating with their software now fall under the ElectraWorks Ltd umbrella, which includes GVC Holdings alongside other popular casino brands such as Party Poker and Bwin Casino.

Cozy Games

While the new acquisition provides many changes to licensing information for casinos operating with Cozy Games, the Isle of Man Gambling Commission remains the primary manager for these sites outside of the UK. For sites operating in the UK, the licenses are updated to include the new ElectraWorks information, which includes an agreement with the UK Gaming Commission.

Who is Cozy Games?

Cozy Games is an online casino software developer that was founded by a group of professionals in 2005. The company provides a broad platform of unique gaming opportunities, which includes Rummy and Video Poker. However, their primary focus is, and has always been casino games such as slots and Bingo variations.

As with most software providers, the majority of their platform consists of both classic and modern video slots, but the library also includes Keno, various table games, Video Poker, and of course, bingo. Much of the 100+ games in the Cozy Games library consists of titles from leading developers, such as IGT, Bally, Sigma, Lightning Box, and more.

The developer provides in-house gaming software as well, although the platform doesn’t consist of a major selection of casino games. However, it provides unique video slots that includes standard graphics and some up to 9 bonus features. The developer also offers standalone variations of roulette, video poker, blackjack, and other casino-based gaming opportunities such as lottery style scratch cards. Much of the Cozy Games platform is accessible via mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets.

Prior to the GVC Holdings accusation, Cozy Games operated solely under a license agreement with Isle of Man and is independently audited by iTech Labs to ensure accurate results, fairness, and random payouts.

Cozy Bingo Games

One of the best additions to the GVC Holdings platform is the additional bingo games , now available at several Cozy Bingo sites. Bingo is clearly among the primary focuses for the company as they provide five different types, including Live, Best, Fun, Winner, and Super Bingo.

These Bingo Games operate on a network, meaning they’re available on various sites to players from around the world with access to the network. While a major bingo platform with high traffic volumes might seem like a disadvantage due to the odds of winning, it also means winnings are higher as more players purchase tickets for each round.

Cozy Games offers the popular 75 and 90-ball variations while also providing the market with the additional 30 and 80-ball games, which isn’t available with most other bingo game providers. In addition to more bingo games, the developer is also a leader in mobile bingo gaming for tablets and smartphones.

Each bingo variation features various rooms that cater for all player types, including game styles, ticket values, and reward opportunities. Currently, Cozy Games bingo operates at more than 50 sites, making it a worthy network for professional and trustworthy gaming. The network is expected to drastically grow with GVC Holdings, especially since the ElertaWorks group includes an agreement with the UK Gambling Commission, allowing UK players to enjoy fair and secure gaming opportunities.
